– Controller
Logistics and sales reports
My job
In my job as controller with BHC CAO (Central Administration Organisation) I have two primary
assignments: Logistics and sales reporting.
Logistics means doing product forecasts, registering when we receive products, making
invoices and analysing our HealthCare figures.
Sales reporting mean making certain kinds of reports that I have developed the template for
myself. They are quite popular and that is of course nice.
I like my job because I like working with (numbers) figures and seeing things fit into place.
I also appreciate the contact to all the departments that I do controlling for, and my skilled and
pleasant team mates.
Our CAO team
The CAO team is quite a new thing with Bayer, which was established beginning of 2006. Due to all
internal BHC changes we are still consolidating the function.
A lot of our team members have a higher Commercial Education, but the main thing is that you
are good at figures and used to stretching the capacities of an Excel spreadsheet as far as
possible.
We mostly work independently in the team and I appreciate the responsibility. At the same
time we also co-operate a lot and try to assist each other when ever possible.
Are you a CAO person?
To fit into our team you must be able to handle and preferably enjoy being busy. In return you will
be part of a great team.
