Facts about BHC CAO
BHC CAO operates Nordic (Scaninavia, Finland and Baltics). In Scandinavia the department contains
of 18 employees.
The team gets together once in a while to plan budget forecasts, delegate the related
assignments and discuss new systems. Also some times the entire team meets in the various BHC
headquarters in Leverkusen, Basel or Berlin. Accordingly some travel will be needed in all
positions.
Being up to date with new systems is very important to the team which is why common training,
sometimes in cooperation with other Bayer Norden controllers, takes place regularly.
BHC CAO in brief
The CAO department works cross-country and cross-divisions in order to assist and support the Bayer
HealthCare subgroup.
The function is responsible for monitoring costs- and sales figures and alerting management
if unexpected figures should appear.
The CAO controlling group is taking care of the HealthCare budget process, providing
forecasts and keeps the management up to date on costs and sales changes.
The CAO supply chain group (SCM) takes care of all product supply from the various global
factories to our Nordic markets. BHC SCM also includes also a group of OTC personnel which directly
takes orders from customers.
