Our Leadership Principles

Our Leadership Principles give guidance on how we should conduct our business and how we should work together. They describe our expectations of leadership behavior at Bayer Norden.

– putting the customer first, knowing and understanding internal and external customers and establishing long-term customer relationships.

Delivering results
– setting and pursuing challenging yet realistic goals, creating value out of the wide diversity in the organization.

Overcoming complexity
– understanding how things get done, streamlining and shortening processes, empowering people to move the decision closer to the customer.

Thinking strategically
– changing business strategy into operational practice, recognizing factors with significant impact on business, taking the bigger picture in to account.

Partnering
– cultivating a professional internal and external network, trusting and building trustful relationships, cooperating and respecting other’s diversity, dealing with conflicts constructively.

Leading people
– demonstrating the company’s values and leading by example, demonstrating courage, providing clear direction, giving open and hones feedback, encouraging self-initiative

Developing yourself and others
- recognizing one's own strengths and development needs, encouraging opinions being freely expressed, learning from mistakes, creating a coachin environment.

The above principles work as guidelines for selecting and developing our managers.
